Shree Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple located at Prabhadevi in Mumbai, a two-century-old Temple that fulfills the desires of the worshipers. Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai is a Hindu Temple, dedicated to lord Ganesha. Siddhivinayak Temple is located in Prabhadevi, Mumbai, Maharashtra. Earlier, the Siddhivinayak temple was a small construction highlighting the black idol of Shree Siddhivinayak, carved out of stone. It was only two and half feet wide then. The most remarkable feature of this idol of Lord Ganesh is that, His trunk is tilted to the right side.

The idol has four hands. The upper right arm holds a lotus flower, the left has an axe. The lower right arm holds a rosary and the lower left hand holds a ‘modak’. This temple was constructed by Late Sri Lakshman Vithu Patil, with the financial assistance from Ms. Deubai Patil. She prayed Lord Siddihivinayak to bless all women, who have no child to bless them with children and all other prosperities. Being one of the busiest temples in Mumbai, people often queue up for the Siddhivinayak Live Darshan. There are two Gates from which devotees can enter in Temple premises. It is believed that all your wishes come true if you pray here. You will find devotees walking barefoot to the temple to attain the esteemed blessings of the Lord. Swayambhu Siddhivinayak Ganesh Devasthan literally translated as self manifested divine abode of Lord Ganesha is one of the most famous temples and a key landmark of Vazira Naka - a neighbourhood in the western suburbs of Borivli. The idol has been kept as it is and the temple has been built into an unique six-storeyed construction, which almost touches the sky.

Entry is total free for all and the temple open all days of week. There are special darshan for Senior Citizens, Mothers with infants in the arms, Physically challenged individuals, NRIs and Foreigners available at temple. also available paid Darshan charges Rs. 50.

The timings for visiting the temple are from 5:30 am to 10:00 pm. As Tuesday is a special day for Lord Ganesh. During 'Sankashti Chaturthi' and 'Angaraki Chaturthi' a huge number of devotees attend the special events held by this temple. Timing For Lord Ganesh Dharshan from 12:30 PM to 7:15 PM. Evening Aarti started at 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM. After Evening Aarthi open temple up to 9:50 PM. Last puja timing is 9:50 PM. After this pooja, the doors of the temples are closed.
