Located 5 kms from the Aurangabad city, the burial place of Aurangzeb wife, Rabia-Durrani. Aurangazeb's son, Prince Azam Shah built it in 1678 in the memory of his mother Begum Rabia Durani. Aurangzeb was not interested in constructing this mausoleum and hence, he was not keen on spending much wealth.

Aurangzeb’s son built this monument in 1679 AD in memory of his mother Rabia-Durrani. It is an imitation of the Taj Mahal. Constructed between 1651 to 1661 C.E., Bibi Ka Maqbara was planned and erected by an architect named Ata-ullah and an engineer called Hanspat Rai. Situated in Aurangabad. Bibi ka maqbara is the fascinating item of Aurangabad to tourists. It is the tomb of Dairas Banu Beegum, wife of Aurangaseb, constructed by their son Azam Shah in 1678. The reason for this is that, despite the fact that it could not be an adequate competitor for the Taj, it is still a magnificent monument. Bibi Ka Maqbara has been set amidst picturesque surroundings, with the mountain ranges providing the perfect backdrop. The Bibi ka Maqbara, the sole illustration of the Mughal architecture in the Deccan Plateau was built in the model of Taj Mahal. Biwi Ka Maqbara is called mini Taj Mahal because both concepts are same while making. The creator of this tomb was the son of Aurangzeb, who built it to pay homage to his mother Begum Rabia Durani. A mosque is also present in the western part of the main construction, which is said to have been later added by the Nizam of Hyderabad that closed the entrance of the tomb from its western side.
The building is designed to be less opulent than the Taj Mahal although in truth it is almost as magnificent, with a similar group of four asymmetrically positioned white minarets around a central domed structure. It is believed that the marble for this burial chamber was brought from the mines situated near Jaipur and as per Tavernier, a renowned historian, approximately three hundred carts loaded with marbles, were seen by him during his journey from Surat to Golconda. This is worth seeing historical monument in the Aurangabad city. This mausoleum is replica of Taj Mahal due to this reason is known as Taj of Deccan. The Bibi ka Maqbara is copy of Agra's Taj Mahal. The mortal remains of Rabia-ul-Daurani have been placed in a chamber, below the ground level. Surrounding them is an octagonal marble screen, which has been adorned with beautiful designs.
