The Dwarkadhish temple is located in the town of Dwarka, on the banks of the Gomati River, in the district of Jamnagar in Gujarat. The original temple was constructed by King Vajranabha, the great grandson of Lord Krishna. The majestic five-storied structure of Dwarkadhish Temple stands high on the confluence of Gomati River and Arabian Sea. Built with the support of 72 pillars, Dwarkadhish Mandir presents a sight to behold. This temple has two shikhars and in between them The nij shikhar is the longer shikhar. It denotes where the deity of Lord Krishna is installed. After the end of the war of Mahabharata, Shri Krishna lived for 36 years at Dwaraka.
