Gangotri Yatra


The Gangotri temple was built by the Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa in the 18th century. Gangotri temple located at an altitude of 3,200 mts on the left bank of Bhagirathi in Uttarkashi district in Indian state Uttarakhand. Visited by hundreds of thousands pilgrims every year is located near the spot where the goddess Ganga is said to have first descended on earth from heaven, as an answer to the prayers of King Bhagriath.

Yamunotri Yatra


Yamunotri Temple is one of the Important pilgrimage sites in Nothern Indian State of Uttarakhand. It is located in Himalayas at an altitude of 3285 Mtrs. Maharani Gularia of Jaipur built the Yamunotri Temple in the 19th century. The Yamunotri Temple is dedicated to the river Yamuna also known as Yamuna Devi. The deity or Goddess Yamuna is made of black marble. Yamunotri, the source of Yamuna River and the seat of the Goddess Yamuna.
